Anyone know where I might find some people to either volunteer or work for peanuts on some special effects for an internet TV show I'm planning?

GO TO THIS WEBSITE TO MAKE ELECTION DAY A NATIONAL HOLIDAYhttp://www.workingforchange.com/activism/action.cfm?itemid=17781
This is what I wrote to personalize my email:
I am a student at the University of South Florida. After talking to many students on the matter most concured with me that making Election Day a National Holiday will help them be able to get out to the polls.
Let's face it, America is a nationa of procrastinators, we do it all the time. Wait till the last minute. At least if Americans are going to procrastinate let's let them but at least let's make it so they can MAKE it to the polls on that day without penalty by work or school. It just makes sense. Everyone says how sad it is that we have such a low voter turn out. Most nations that have a democratic-style government have their election day as a holiday to enormous success. It is time we made a change.

Government and cinema
My name is Helen. I am from Russia. I'm studying tv- and cinema-management here.
First of all, I'd like to give you a situation in russian cinematography. The problem is that film industry has got rather poor after the Perestroyka. And now Government decided to give cinema financial and law support. In return, the films produced should correspond on several conditions proposed by the government: the idea and the moral value of the film.
It is a simpled scheme in fact. But I would ask you to comment on if government affection is good for cinematography or cinema should be free of pressure.
Waiting forward to your reasons. Thank you.

i am attending southern illinois university in carbondale as a cinema major. i am a senior, but i still have one year left after this and then onto the dreaded internship and the real world of hollywood.
i have a couple films i've done on super-8, the first is about 5 min. long and the other is 8 and 1/2 min. i am currently working on a documentary on 16mm that will be done in may. i am also in preproduction for a film i will do next year on 16mm, but i'm still working on the script so, not so close with that one.
i also made a music video, on a crappy handy cam camcorder, for my friend who is an amazing singer and songwriter. it's one of her original songs called trampoline
which you can view.
i love movies, don't know what i would do without them. the movie that made me want to "make movies" is jurassic park.

Thanks for joining. I promise I'll have this place looking more sexy by the end of the week.
A little background on me: I'm a junior at Illinois State working on two projects right now. One is stalled, since I'm bogged down in rewrites, and the second is coming along quite well. It is a comedy called the Were-cow, written by a local stand-up, and I'll probably be showing it off here when the time comes.
More to come later! Post away. And feel free to tell us about yourself, as well. Current Mood: Post oscars boredom
